Turkey the Cup

Significant final: between neighbour-cities in Anatolia, each having fat chance for first ever trophy. Eskisehirspor already played and lost the Cup final in the previous year. This time they prevailed.

Bursaspor lost the final and had to wait 15 years for winning the Cup.

New winners of the Cup – no mistake this time, after losing the 1969-70 final.

Eskisehirspor crowned the strongest period in their history – 1968-75 – by winning the Cup: the only trophy ever won. They added the Presidential Cup – today's Turkish Supercup – played between the champion and the Cup winner this year as well.

Dinamo was unable to win a double.

Steaua saved the season by winning the Cup.
