Turkey the Cup

 

The Cup final was played in two legs and Goztepe was able to win second Cup in a row.                                         
Eskişehirspor   - Göztepe İzmir              2-1        1-3     
Eskisehirspor had strong season, but finished second best in both championship and Cup competition. 

Goztepe (Izmir) triumphed as a Turkish Cup winner. This was their second Cup, but consecutive. They also won the Turkish Supercup, but unfortunately 1970 was the last successful year for the club – after that and so far: nothing. 
The winners deserve a second look.
