Fenerbahce won its 6th League title. If counting the former national championships - 15th title. Thanks to the Romanian invasion: coach Traian Ionescu, midfielder Ion Nunweiller and goalkeeper Illie Datcu (who will take Turkish citizenship and remain with the club after retirement as a coach under his new Turkish name   İlyas Datça).
