Cup: SL Benfica                   3-1 Sporting CP
Sporting was unable to win a double. 
Benfica, the classier team anyway, took revenge for the lost championship by winnu=ing the Cup. It was their 14th Cup.

Jose Augusto started the season as a player and finished it coaching the team.
